The MSC1708 scanner is a scanner suitable for detecting flat, pipe surface circumferential welds or longitudinal welds. The scanner consists of multiple frames, on which probe clamping devices and encoders are assembled. According to the actual testing needs, this scanner can achieve single probe scanning or simultaneous scanning with multiple probes.

Functional features:

• Aluminum alloy frame is lightweight and sturdy;

• The armrest wheel frame and probe loading arm can be installed at any position on the crossbar;

• The width of the probe support arm can be adjusted and different types of wedges can be installed;

• According to the condition of the detection surface, permanent magnet wheels or demagnetization wheels can be selected;

• According to the detection object, single, double or triple bar structures can be selected, and the length of the bars can be customized;

• Single piece is suitable for testing flat plate welds or pipe circumferential welds;

• Double bar is suitable for detecting flat, uneven thick plate welds or pipe circumferential welds;

• Three rods are suitable for detecting flat plates, pipe circumferential welds, and pipe longitudinal welds;

• Encoder resolution: 43steps/mm;

• The encoder can be directly applied to OMNISCAN instruments using DB or LEMO interfaces, or customized for FocusLT
  
  Mainstream phased array instruments such as Dynaray, MultiX, Prisma UT, etc.
